I am not a fan of 'number' cards either – I just think they're unimaginative, I know how old I am – but they came nonetheless. Waiting for the day the twisted Levi trend returns so I can bore younger generations about it. xx

I knew there was a reason your writing was so immediately relatable and that’s because you’re not only a fellow Capricorn but also Scottish, both excellent qualities in my book ☺️ This was a great way to look back on your younger self and how life has unfolded for you and I had lots of fun reading it. Wish we could all be given a chance to let our younger selves it’ll be alright(ish) in the end.

I'm not sure 50-year old and 25-year old me would have hit it off at all. (I spent my 50th in the Museum of Terror in Budapest - looking back, that does seem a bit odd and 25-year old me would have been appalled. He needed to loosen up.)

I'm 50 next year but I suspect my 25 year old self would have just told me to piss off if I offered any advice. Even though she really needed to break up with that boyfriend already and not hang on for another 4 bloody years...
In the New Year I am having lunch with a friend I haven't seen in 7+ years. She posted a meme on instagram about how she can forgive her friends anything but quitting alcohol. So I have decided to let that be a lovely surprise for her on the day.
