❤️ “All around us, life continued, loud and oblivious.” - big moments in life have a way of crystallising things like this, don’t they. I remember after losing my grandad, becoming acutely aware of life just carrying on around me

This is breathtaking Justin. The language of all these timers, invisible or otherwise, helps me name something that has been gnawing away, so thank you xx

Gorgeous line: “Milestones loom: first kisses, white weddings, babies, the clunk of a generation shifting position like Caramacs in a leisure centre vending machine.”
